Limozin is another beautifully positioned site, tucked up under the Premier Crus and bordering Les Charmes, Les Genevrières and Les Poruzots. It’s a clay-rich terroir that typically produces a particularly intense, mineral and long-lived Meursault. That is certainly the case in 2020. The ancient vines, planted in 1937, bring extra concentration and power to the terroir. As always, it’s more dense than the Chevalières but this is also incredibly racy and mineral.
