Reviews

"It has to be said, the Toolangi wines have never looked so good. Obviously vineyard work is paying off and, of course, winemaking is more focused as a result. This is still in a youthful, primary phase, but that won't stop anyone drinking it today. Super-bright fruit, laced with spices, well-handled smoky/meaty reduction, more of the prosciutto variety. A grind of pepper, juniper and mint add to the savoury flavours. The palate is taut, tannins giving, and bright acidity to match. Well played."
94 points, Jane Faulkner, Halliday Wine Companion
“Value to be had here. It’s riddled with pepper-spice, it’s ripe, it’s savoury in large part but there’s more than enough fruit too. It’s also well balanced. If pepper-laden shiraz is to your liking then you’d be hard-pressed to find such a good example at such an easy-to-reach price. Recommended. Highly.”
